We have a new page on the Laurel website, “Coming Soon.” This is meant to show what events are coming to the community in the medium term, rather than just the upcoming week.

I note we should have waited until Advent, because Advent is the season where we prepare for the One who we believe is Coming Soon. “Advent” literally means “coming.” In the season of Advent we prepare for the coming of Christ even as we look back and celebrate his coming in Bethlehem so many years ago.

So enjoy our new page, and enjoy the God we serve who is indeed coming.
