CHRISTMAS CANTATA LIFTS SPIRITS

In this year’s Christmas cantata, our choir joyfully led us through the classic Christmas story — the call to Mary, the trip to Bethlehem, the proclamation of the angelic voices to the shepherds, the wise men from the east following that star, and the joyful response of all creation. Music Director David Clatterbuck played piano and led the choir with regular Laurel trumpeter Matt Bruins at counterpoint. Thank you, David and Choir, for stirring our hearts as we prepare again for the coming of Emmanuel. Many thanks also to those who catered a lovely reception for those in worship. The accompanying video is of “Behold the Child.”
