“He Is Risen Indeed”

This truth was shouted aloud at our two services of worship on Easter Day.  Sixty attended our first Easter Sunrise Worship Service, a majority of whom were not members of the church. Laurel cooks offered a hearty breakfast after the service.  We worshipped again at 10:00 am with our choir inspiring us with Easter hymns.  An egg hunt followed for our youngest disciples.  Our congregation was pleased that the Lord made if possible for us to share the Good News with young and old on the Day of Resurrection!  The photo features “The Flowering Cross” where those in worship bring flowers from their gardens, transforming the ancient symbol of punishment into a sign of new life, much like the holy day of Easter itself!Easter 2017 Flowering Cross small
