Choir Singing from Back - edit small

“Knowing and loving our neighbors as Christ loves us
and together discovering abundant life in him.”

This Advent-Christmas season our choir presented the Christmas cantata, “Christmas Presence” which inspired all of us in attendance. They sang of the joy of God’s light coming in an often darkened world and of the deep mystery of God becoming human in the person of Jesus Christ.

Music is an important component of our worship experience each week. On virtually every Sunday throughout the year, our choir and music director David Clatterbuck give us two lovely and meaningful anthems to present God’s joyous Word in song. During the seasons of Lent-Easter and Advent-Christmas, they present longer works and also a special concert in the fall that typically invites the congregation to join in on some favorite hymns. Regular visitors and new members often share their appreciation for our choir as an important reason for attending worship at Laurel.

Laurel Church represents a congregation of individuals and families seeking a closer relationship with God and God’s grace and help in daily living. Ours is a  dynamic faith that welcomes questions and recognizes that sometimes we doubt.  Guided by the Holy Spirit, we seek together to work out the Lord’s will for us in our lives — at church, at work, at school, at home and at play.  If we can assist you in your search for hope, healing and purpose in life, please drop by or give us a call!

We usually meet for worship at 10:00 am on Sunday with engaging adult classes beginning at 8:45 am. Please check out other pages on this website to learn more about opportunities at Laurel Church.
